Infusi dall'Eremo Saffron Liqueur 500ml 30%

This liqueur is made from a cold infusion of saffron from the farms in the L’Aquila Saffron DOP area, widely regarded as some of the best quality saffron in the world. Saffron is rich in antioxidants, especially carotenoids as well as volatile oils. The traditional uses include everything from soothing coughs and ulcers, boosting memory, through to use as an aphrodisiac. Generally, it is considered an elixir for wellbeing.

Serve Saffron Liqueur as an after-dinner digestive at 7-9°C. It also makes an excellent component for cocktails, long drinks and also desserts.

Infusi dall’Eremo (Infusions from the Hermitage) 
This cooperative based near L’Aquila produces a range of herbal tonics based on the original medieval recipes of the monks using ingredients sourced from Abruzzo’s national parks. The raw materials are carefully selected and can be traced to origin and collection.
The tonics are made via cold infusion where the leaves, flowers, roots and berries are macerated in alcohol to extract the aromas, flavours and therapeutic constituents. They contain no preservatives or additives.
