“Here we are. It’s the right level”; this is the meaning of the dialect term “Ai Suma”. This wine is only produced in the best vintages. This wine is made with late harvested Barbera grapes, which makes the flavour exceptionally rich and concentrated.
Giacomo Bologna, the late founder of Braida and the pioneer of Barbera as a variety to be recognised as an age-worthy fine red wine, ensured his legacy with the creation of this wine. Keep a bottle of Ai Suma for 20 years and you will be handsomely rewarded.
