2014 Vin Santo del Chianti Classico DOC 750ml
Description
The grape clusters are picked and laid out to dry on mats called paglie, and the juice is pressed after 3-4 months of drying. The must ferments, then ages for 5 years in small, 225 litre French oak caratelli, followed by a further 12 months in bottle.
The flavour is concentrated and warm, with notes of honey and almond.
