Description
The two most famous Barbera wines are called Barbera d'Alba or Barbera d'Asti. Barbera d'Alba wines are characteristically more full-bodied, whereas Barbera d'Asti will have its trademark youthful, purple colour. Both are rich in flavor with low tannins and a food-friendly high acidity.
The particular soils of La Morra influence this Barbera d'Alba of superb elegance. The first vintage for this wine was in 1969.
