Description
Benanti is a reference point producer for beautiful wines from Mount Etna. It offers a great introduction to some of the important indigenous grapes of the Etna, such as Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio.
Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio are at home at the high altitude of the Etna volcano and gives wines that are fragrant and mineral-driven.
This pure Nerello Cappuccio has aromas of spicy red cherry, savoury plum, liquorice and herbs, and is mineral driven on the palate. There is plenty of bright acidity, and a pleasant floral component.
