Rustichella d’Abruzzo is found deep in the green Vestine hills, in the central region of Abruzzo on the Adriatic coast. In 1924 Gaetano Sergiacomo established the business in the province of Penne, to conserve traditional methods of pasta production. Three generations later, Rustichella is still a family business managed by Gaetano’s grandson, Gianluigi Peduzzi.
Rustichella is absolutely committed to traditional production techniques, and a quality artisan product. Meticulous attention to every detail, starting with the selection of excellent raw ingredients. This includes selecting quality durum wheat from growers in Italy as well as Canada and Australia.
Rustichella has one of the largest selections of artisan pasta including an certified organic range as well as products made from the ancient grain farro. The company also makes Extra Virgin Olive Oil from local indigenous olives as well as traditional cakes and sweets.
