The Flamigni story begins in 1930 when the three Flamigni brothers: Armando, Lieto and Aurelio, opened a pastry and coffee shop in Saffi Square in Forli, Emilia-Romagna. The brothers’ flagship product was torrone (Italian nougat) in all its variations and it helped establish their reputation throughout Italy. Flamigni then applied their same passion for authenticity and quality to panettone, opening a purpose-built bakery in the Langhe region of Piedmont, in collaboration with Antonio Fava, a local artisan baker.

Today the company is run by Marco Buli, son-in-law of one of the founder, his daughter Renata, and son Massimo. They continue to operate two production centres; Forli for nougat and biscuits, and Rodello d’Alba for panettone and baked goods. The Flamigni range is renowned for premium quality ingredients, masterful production and beautiful presentation. Enoteca Sileno has been proudly importing Flamigni products to Australia since 1988.
