Adami

giardino02big

Adami is regarded as one of the leading producers of prosecco spumante. Adami’s Prosecco is produced with grapes from vineyards in Valdobbiadene and Cartizze—some of the Prosecco region’s top vineyard sites which have been in the family since 1920.

Today Adriano Adami runs the winery with his sons, Armando and Franco, both of whom graduated with a degree in Oenology bringing a new technological knowledge to Adami’s Prosecco production.

Adami produces about 700,000 bottles a year, with grapes sourced from approx 50 hectares of vineyards. Eleven hectares are from Adami estate vineyards, while many long-time individual grape-growers, focused on producing quality fruit, provide the remainder of Adami’s grapes.

Franco Adami has served as president of the Consorzio di Tutela del Prosecco DOC di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene representing a majority of the northern Veneto's Prosecco di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene winemakers and growers.
